Top Ten Tuesday: Magazine Subscriptions

1) Herb Companion *

2) Cowboys and Indians *

3) National Geographic - There is always inspiration to be found in this magazine. It is SO fascinating!

4) Seventeen - only for character purposes! I did it to better understand the teenage world.

5) Writer's Digest - LOTS of fantastic tips and info. VERY HELPFUL! Greatest magazine for writers EVER!

6) Costal Living - I subscribed to this magazine because one of my books is set near the ocean.

7) Game Informer - There are a lot of action shots that are AWESOME to use...you know...for...maybe like to post on your bulletin board and use them for AWESOME INSPIRATION.

8) Horse Illustrated *

9) The Writer - I haven't liked The Writer as much as Writer's Digest but I do love The Writer's interviews of other authors.

10) Hobby Farms *

*Okay, I went through this phase of wanting to own a farm, have horses, grow a garden with herbs in it, etc. You get the picture. So, I subscribed to a bunch of magazines to understand it better. It was fun and there is still a part of me that would love to do all of that but there are other things preoccupying my mind right now. Maybe someday.

And there you go.... the many magazines I have subscribed to.

What magazines have you subscribed to?

NEXT WEEK: The Last Memzie's Top Ten Keyword Searches...this should be fascinating.

Books Borrowed From My Library

I have been rearranging my room.
(Quite a task I might add.)
I have moved my bookshelves into one corner and boxed it in with a comfortable chair to create a little reading nook. It really is cute and I love sitting in my little piece of heaven. After I moved the shelves, I then set about the task of organizing my books into piles by genre and then arranged by author. As I have been moving my MANY books around, I found some missing.

*shaking head* I should be a librarian. I figured out that I have lent these books that are missing.

Here are the missing links:

I have always wanted to do this but have always forgotten to.

NOT THIS TIME!

I have always wanted to use a fake name at Starbucks and finally this last week I remembered.

It was the first name off the top of my head and I kind of liked it. When they called my 'name', I felt like a different person, almost like a secret identity or something.

If you gave the Starbucks' barista a fake name, what would you give?

Here are a few answers I got from some of my friends:
Gabrielle: Ok well the first name that popped into my head was Jill! :)
Diana: Well, I like my name, it is never in the most popular lists, but I remember liking the name Lauren.....it is a beautiful perfume too.
Carleigh: Batman
Emily: Sofia- my alter ego!
Kurtis: Maximus
